Galatians 2:20 [KJV] "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." The testimony of a Christian is not a changed life but an exchanged one. Luke 9:24 [KJV] "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it." Our Lord Jesus here, note this, isn't telling us to give Him our lives instead He says to lose it/discard it /do away with it for His sake. Yes, this is one of those things that you need to do by yourself even as He stands with you. This is the hard truth that scares some people off. It's like throwing away your favourite pair of shoes when you see that it's no good. Lol even if it's not your favourite pair it'd still be hard.
