UCCF Holiday Diaries 4

So this is an article I wrote a very long long time ago, when I was pretty much being prepared by GOD for the journey in future. Then I used to share the word with certain people on a weekly basis and this was the first one. I must point out I was still a bit young and therefore not as experienced as I am right now. You’ll see those inexperienced-patterns in my writing for this article. You’ll also see certain patterns in this article that I have retained through the years. I’m sharing this now because I believe there are things to glean from it. I was gonna share something else, but then I decided to go for this one UNEDITED as this one rested with my Spirit.

Wow. Finally I write to you after such a long battle with my flesh (laziness ooooo). Well PRAISE GODDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!LOL. I am really happy to be finally doing this. It took a while for me to hear from GOD due to my own un-seriousness but today he finally spoke. So I am very very glad! Am glad to be chosen to share the word with you. It gives me GREAT joy. Look, I could go on and on about how happy I am so let me just move over to the gist of the matter before you begin swear for me. Lol.
First of all I am really happy you made the choice to be Christians. It’s not easy to be called “sons” (and daughters of course) of GOD. Now we know we have a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Now we can dare to dream as far as our imaginations can take us knowing GOD has got our backs. You want to become a lawyer who has a family and can take care of her kids and still have enough to buy the best jewelry? Fine. But if you want to be an established owner of a law firm with so much money to send all the less privileged orphans in your state on a shopping spree in Dubai, then you need the grace of GOD to that. You want to be the manager in a company who owns a beautiful house and drives a range sport to a work every day, then fine. But if you want to be the director of a group of companies and have not just one Jeep but “JEEPsies” and be so busy you spend more time in your private jet going to countries to honor invitations to speak to young minds on how to become successful, then guess what….you guessed right, YOU NEED THE GRACE OF GOD. So you see why I am glad that you are in the family. You are well positioned and have UNLIMITEDaccess to that grace. So if you are reading this and still need Jesus in your life, then now is a GOD time to say “Lord Jesus, I accept you as my savior and my king. Come into my life and translate me into your kingdom. Amen.”
Alright. This week I just want us to reflect on the fact that we have been given this grace FREELY. We didn’t do ANYTHING to deserve it. GOD just loves us that much. GOD says in his word that while we were yet sinners he loved us. Now that’s powerful if you really think on it. While we were yet lying, cheating in the exam hall, kissing and smooching ourselves, showing our self-centered life styles, killing with our words, drinking and partying, GOD ALREADY LOVED USand he sent his ONLY son to die for us (Romans5:8)! Not because there were strong prophets of GOD then like John the Baptist. Not because there were righteous, holier than thoupeople already, but he came to die for people who were not worthy and CAN NEVER BE! Us sinners! Wow. GOD dey try oooo. So u see why we must never lose that fact. No matter how much we sin as Christians GOD still loves us because in the first place the love didn’t come because you were faithful. It came while you were a sinner. And that love will never cease!Lamentations 3:22 & 23(BBE version) says “It is through the Lord’s LOVE that we have not come to destruction, because his mercies HAVE NO LIMIT. They are NEW EVERY MORNING, great is your good faith.” Think on that for moment. Now that’s going to be our scripture for the week. Look, we know there are gonna be times when we will make mistakes here and there, sometimes we even do them with full knowledge that they aint right. But we thank GOD that as soon as we are willing to retrace our steps and ask for forgiveness he is willing to forgive. DO NOT BE DECEIVED. GOD DOESN’T MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A SINNER ONCE YOU HAVE ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS. NEVER! The devil does that. HE will keep on doing that because he knows once you know the truth about it all, he has no way to keep you in bondage. He knows many times we really want to stop sinning and surrender to GOD but if he(Satan) can just make us feel guilty and worthless we will give up trying and that way we are CONSTANTLY in bondage. So don’t let him do that. This week every morning we are gonna be thanking GOD for his new mercies towards according to our passage. We know the devil will come with that “you are a sinner and GOD cannot keep on loving and forgiving you cause you constantly let him down thingy” but when he comes we can quote Lamentations 3;22-23. GOD’s love never ends. His mercies never cease. He himself said so in his words. Don’t ever forget that. Keep saying it every morning this week with all the belief and faith you can muster till it sinks deep down into your spirit. Then when the devil tries it again, you’ll just laugh at him cause you know the truth and you might even feel for him that GOD’s love never extended to him. There is a song to this our passage as well. If you know it, keep singing it at every given time. GOD LOVES YOU AND HE IS NEVER GONNA STOP LOVING YOU! Stay blessed.
Okay okay okay… I know… the article was lengthy, but it’s a first and so I had to express my joy. You won’t understand how happy I am. I promise next time it won’t be this lengthy (as the spirit leads ooooo. Lol.) it will be way way shorter. Okay. I’m tired right now. I never chop since morning. Honestly, I wrote this article in pains of fasting but GOD they. I go survive. Till next weekkeep confessing it…
Brother Uyioghosa
Now back to the future. There is a point I mentioned in the article back then that I do not quite agree with now. I do not believe Lucifer “never” got the love of GOD. In fact I think he took that show of love for weakness that’s why he tried to usurp divine authority. Apart from that I pretty much still agree with everything in the article. So I encourage you to do that this week. Just don’t take His love, mercy and grace for granted. Let them change you. A very good friend of mine put it perfectly. Grace is like a ladder. At a stage in your life, you outgrow certain ladders and at that point you should throwaway those ladders and step up to the bigger ones. But if you keep using the same ladder over and over again, you’ll never get to the next level GOD wishes for you. YOUR WAY TO GREATNESS IN THE KINGDOM INVOLVES YOU OVERCOMING THAT FLAW IN YOU BY GRACE!
Enough from me. Keep on Kinging(and Queening). GOD rocks!
Val.
