Sermon by Pastor Valentine: 

Title: By Grace through Faith

Texts: Ephesians 2:8, Matthew 16:17-18

    What is grace?
Grace can be described as divine influence from above. It can also be referred to as unmerited favour.
    How is grace related to faith?
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God and grace works through faith. When God wants to take a man to a new level of grace, He gives him a WORD. This Word carries news and instructions from God and brings the challenges needed to be faced before attaining that level of grace. But let's note that God doesn't reward mediocrity.
    What are these challenges to be faced?
Trials and travails are the 'exams to be passed' in order to get this new class of grace and the Word that carries these news, information and challenges is an evidence that God will do something good for you.

The reason is because people don't really love God. Many Christians practise religion and don't live by it.       Christianity is the way of life so we live by it not practise it. If you do not  spend time with God, you cannot love him superficially. The commandment God gave us is love your neighbour as yourself.  Your love for God will make you do what your flesh is not willing to do. UCCF Holiday Diaries 2

Hello people of GOD. So I made the lon g trip from Festac (Lagos) to Ondo first thing on Thursday and that marked the end of a very short stint at home. Back to the beautiful place that is called NIEPA...and Mama Ifaka’s bread , and Porter  Gbenga  and his bullets (Please don’t ever tell him I typed this. Let this be our little secret….winks….)  I can’t say I achieved much other than eating lots of chicken and beef. You begin to wonder why GOD didn’t make eating meat a way to edify “the hidden man of our hearts”. Just think about it for a second. We would have run Satan out of business by now. Instead of praying in tongues why can’t I just eat meat???Atherosclerosis  answers my spirit.  Sad. And now I know my dream of eating meat to edification can never come to reality, one thing I  still  know that can come to pass is seeing you all fulfilling destiny.  We talked about having definite plans and structures for how our holiday pans out with Jes...
