The believers ' Authority.
Topic: THE BELIEVERS ' AUTHORITY .

>Who is a believer?
A believer is one who believes in the suffering, death, resurrection and the present day ministry of Jesus Christ. In other words, a believer is anyone that has given his/her life to Christ.
<What is the Authority?
Authority means ability to make decisions.
<Why Authority?
Certain people’s perception of life is that we are to function in life with our physical senses, and that’s actually true, but then, we have to understand that life is spiritual in its entirety.
In the world, we have two forces opposing each other; good and bad forces. Whatever level or state you are now is by a particular spiritual force. So if you do not have authority , you will just go with the flow of the pattern life pushes you.
Devil and his demons are like opportunistic parasites, looking for people whose immune system are down and take authority over those people and decide what he wants their life to be.
Having known that Satan rule this world, considering all that is happening around us, but then God has given us something that Satan do not foresee.
N.B: Your life will always go along with the pattern of this world, unless you make alignment with a greater force; either God or Satan.
As a Christian, if you don’t know your authority in Christ, if there is casting down in your life, there won’t be lifting up. Therefore when you don’t know your authority , you will walk according to the course of this world. Eph2:1-2. Beware of the devil cause he is trying all he could do that you may not know your authority.
<Why must we have Authority?
>To prevent Satan from dealing with us : He doesn’t need invitation to be in your life, once he discover you don’t have authority.
N.B: There is no difference between an unbeliever, a Christian who doesn’t know he has authority and a Christian who knows he has authority but does not know how to use it. because they will all struggle through life the same way.
What is Believers authority?
This is authority over everything and every situations according to the word of God. We act in the jurisdiction the word of God gives to us.
The word accords us every bit of authority over satan.Rom8:29
Whatever Jesus did when he was on heart, we are all authorized to do the same. Jesus came to show us how to live by the word. John1:1-5. His life is meant to show us how we are meant to live in this world.
If your life isn’t mirroring Jesus’ life, then you are living in darkness whether or not you have given your life to Christ.
Know this, that as long as the life of Jesus is in you, darkness cannot catalambano you.
Jesus promised us authority in Matt16:18-19------- he got the authority to himself in Matt28:16-18 ------- and he finally gave the authority to us in Act2:1-3. Therefore, all Christians have the same authority but it looks like it’s different because some people know how to use it than the other.
How we can use the authority we have in Christ according to the word of God Matt8:5-13
By speaking the word
By believing the authority you have over satan (FAITH)
Knowing who you are in Christ. i.e you are an ambassador of Christ.
If you haven’t discovered by yourself the authority that is given to you in the word for each particular situation, you can’t use the one you have for a situation for every other situations. Therefore, read the word over and over and over again till it sinks in and the spirit behind the word connects with your spirit, then you can release the word and it will work.
If you understand the authority in the situation of finances, but when it comes to healing, you do not understand the authority and perhaps you are on a wheelchair, please don’t throw away your wheelchair cause you will need it. This is because you’ve not soaked that understanding of the word into yourself. Likewise in all other areas.
