Depravity of human nature is the wickedness and corrupt mind of human nature which comes in many forms. It starts little, then gradually increases to higher lever. With Adamic nature in the gene of mankind, all human has an iota of depravity.
In Genesis 1, God created man in his image and saw that it was all good, not until Gen 6 when he regret creating man cause the heart of man is full of wickedness.
Wickedness comes in various forms; therefore everyone need to hand over his/herself to certain grace of Christ.
Forms Of Wickedness:
Spiritual depravity Rom1vs18-23: The highest form of spiritual depravity is the rejection of God in your life. If man says I have nothing to do with God and not acknowledging God or representing God with idols, that is the highest form of spiritual depravity. People in this categories do:
Suppress the truth in unrighteousness though their common sense and their conscience is telling them that God exist.
Choose to say that the world came into begin through evolution theory and no supernatural being behind it.
Some believe there is God but because of their ungodliness and unrighteousness they did not give Glory to God.
Sexual depravity Rom1vs24-27: The mother of all depravity is spiritual depravity the moment an individual is spiritual depraved the person degenerate to sexual depravity and immoral activities. verse 26 talks about lesbianism and about gay. When a country is spiritually depraved, immoral activities will surely surface. Sexual depravity includes; gay, fornication ,adultery, incest. When a country is not saved, so many vices will take place. It is a pity that some of the countries that was form on the principle of God are the first to legalize sexual immoralities. You can change the world only if you remain in God. As a christians we need to pray for our country.
Social depravity Rom1vs28-32: If you are not on the side of God doing the things of God you will definitely be on the side devil carrying out his devilish plans. A man is not an isand, he has has a family,lives in the society and integrate things in the comunity; therefore you can never sit on the fence. It's either you are of God or the devil. Devil is not a foolish man, so, for you to counter the works of the devil you must know God's words.There are so many vices we do as a youth which possesses the mind of right judgement. They engage in act offensive to God and of human standard.
Social depravity also includes:
Unrighteousness
Fornication (Rape)
Wickedness
Covetousness
Licentiousness
Murder (mindset murdering).
false witness.
Evil mindedness.
Disobedience to parents.
In conclusion: Anyone with a depraved nature is an enemy of God, who is a constant opposition to God,you are in the danger of God's wrath and death, BUT, you can change because of your eternal destination by giving your life to him and let him be your Lord and saviour.
