             Giving is the mother of tithing and offering,  which is a general act of handling over what you have in your possession to another. God demonstrated the act of giving in John 3vs16. The act of giving is something we should all have as human being.
   Giving is an act given to us by God and we must demonstrate it. Offering and tithe are embedded in giving.You can give to man and to God. We are expected to give generously and leisurely. It should not be a burden.

    Why do we give to man? 
• To make man happy
• To establish your fulfilment in life
• To be blessed.Gal 6vs7, 2cor 9vs7.
•To secure your wealth.

      Giving to God. 
   This involves tithing and offering. When you give to God you are giving your substance to him. Offering is an act of appreciation. Offering and tithing are given to God. Do not take donations for offering or tithe, it is a supportive way of giving to expand a ministery. You are not forced to donate to church but tithe is something we must do.

    Features of giving. 
• It must be done in love.
• It is painful and not easy.
• Giving is to be done unexpectedly.
• It create room for heavenly blessing. Malachi 3vs10.
• It satisfies your heart to be joyous.
• It places you ahead in all endeavors
• It clears off all traces of poverty.

   Why people don't get the benefits of giving. 
• Low self-esteem.
• Giving grudgingly
• Being forced to give.
• Expecting something in return
• Delaying device instructions.

   CONCLUSION: When you are giving, always be attentive in the spirit.

UCCF Holiday Diaries 2

Hello people of GOD. So I made the lon g trip from Festac (Lagos) to Ondo first thing on Thursday and that marked the end of a very short stint at home. Back to the beautiful place that is called NIEPA...and Mama Ifaka’s bread , and Porter  Gbenga  and his bullets (Please don’t ever tell him I typed this. Let this be our little secret….winks….)  I can’t say I achieved much other than eating lots of chicken and beef. You begin to wonder why GOD didn’t make eating meat a way to edify “the hidden man of our hearts”. Just think about it for a second. We would have run Satan out of business by now. Instead of praying in tongues why can’t I just eat meat???Atherosclerosis  answers my spirit.  Sad.
