                    GROWING UP SPIRITUALLY. 

 TEXT: Ephesians 4vs11-14, 1John1vs9, Romans3vs26
         There are similarities between growing up spiritually and growing up physically but they are not the same.  In growing up physically, TIME is the factor.  No  matter how much food a baby eats he can never  be big as a twenty five years old (25yrs) man. Spiritual growth does not deals with time you have spent and your office.
      In Eph4vs11-14, we are to grow up in the knowledge of God until we come into the fullness of christ. Some things are ought not to be found in our vocabulary , such as: I'm not Jesus .
      The knowledge of the son of God is what will cause your growth. If there is no Jesus in the message you are receiving you are not receiving the gospel. Jesus came to show us how to live our lives therefore,if you are not taking in the knowledge of Jesus Christ you are not growing.
Reading study guide such as daily manner,  is not enough for us to grow,we still need the word.
     You must know that God has done something that you cannot do by yourself. There's nothing you can do buy yourself that will make you righteous, holy and have victory over the devil. When you are in christ there's nothing the devil can do. It very important to know that the blood of Jesus gives us access to the holiest. "sin consciousness is equal in its effect to the performance". 1John 1vs9
   Rom 3vs26 There is no one that will go before the lord for forgiveness that he will not forgive. You cannot receive the word of God if you are sin conscious.
*1thess1vs6 Your response to the word of God should be in joy not sadness. The word of God is received with Joy thats how you grow.
*You must have a pattern on how you study word of God. You must be consistent. It better to have consistency than to be extreme. Consistency is the key.
*Mediate on the word you receive. The bible says speaking the truth in love not just by hearing.1cor13vs11 speaking the truth in love as you grow. You must take time to think, mediate and confess about  the word you receive.
*Practice the word that you receive . You must apply the word that you hear in your everyday lives.

The reason is because people don't really love God. Many Christians practise religion and don't live by it.       Christianity is the way of life so we live by it not practise it. If you do not  spend time with God, you cannot love him superficially. The commandment God gave us is love your neighbour as yourself.  Your love for God will make you do what your flesh is not willing to do. UCCF Holiday Diaries 2

Hello people of GOD. So I made the lon g trip from Festac (Lagos) to Ondo first thing on Thursday and that marked the end of a very short stint at home. Back to the beautiful place that is called NIEPA...and Mama Ifaka’s bread , and Porter  Gbenga  and his bullets (Please don’t ever tell him I typed this. Let this be our little secret….winks….)  I can’t say I achieved much other than eating lots of chicken and beef. You begin to wonder why GOD didn’t make eating meat a way to edify “the hidden man of our hearts”. Just think about it for a second. We would have run Satan out of business by now. Instead of praying in tongues why can’t I just eat meat???Atherosclerosis  answers my spirit.  Sad.
